Intermittent buzz/static on Win7 with HRT MSII+

Trying to troubleshoot this issue, but so far can't seem to find anything

I'm getting an intermittent static/buzzing when I'm watching youtube or other video, the buzzing stops straight away after I hit pause on the video so the issue seems to be on Win7 side of things.

Foobar with wasapi works flawlessly, don't get buzzing or static at all. Don't have this issue on my vista work machine either.

static / buzzing always sound the same ?

Yep, it's at about the same volume as the audio. Seems to happen at random, but quite often. Only happens when something is playing.

This is on a Asus UL30Vt laptop.

Ok I must be the only person to experience this issue, BUT the way to fix is....

Go into sound devices in control panel, select the music streamer and hit properties. Under Advance make sure 24 bit, 44100 Hz is selected. Mine was set to 24 bit, 96000 Hz which was stuffing youtube.

Thanks rayk - I have just been getting this issue too.  Had it not been for your post I would probably still be suffering static problems!
