Shure 535 Owners, EQ Question

For those of you who own the 535s what EQ settings do you use? I am just curious as to how these would sound tweaked as they sound great already. My Itunes has 12 bands for EQ.

I apply a manual pre-set to all the music in my library, then play around with the pre-loaded settings on my nano. I discovered that the EQ settings sound different with the E535s jacked in to my laptop. It's an older MacBook Pro. So I'm still playing around with it. Flat EQ'd mp3s (or whatever) seem to sound best with the R&B EQ setting on the nano, but the treble is still a little bright to my ears.

I apply the manual presets by selecting a file in my iTunes library, then click on 'file' > 'get info' > 'options'. The equalizer selections are in that window. To apply the EQ setting to everything, I click 'select all' from the file menu. You probably already know how to make manual settings, but anyway, it's just a matter of moving the sliders from anywhere in the EQ, and then go to the drop down menu. 'Make pre-set is one of the first options. You'll have to give it a name. You can apply yr new settings to multiple files as long as they're categorized somehow, such as by genre, or whatever.

Hope this helps.
