FS: Westone UM1

Hi,

 

I am new here. I bought this from a fellow head-fi'er ~ 3 weeks ago. He had bought this new on October 2009. I believe this is not for me. This is in great condition, I would have used this for like 10 hours. The previous owner stated he did not use it a lot. Comes with 2 original tips, a comply tip and a carrying case. I will sterilize them.

 

 

I bought it for $75, I am looking to sell for $70 shipping included (CONUS) as paypal gift.

 

I would use this money to buy an amp for AKG K701.

Whats the deal with these particular IEM's, why don't you (personally) like them. I am just wondering, hows the bass/soundstage/mids/highs. Basically just want to know more about them, thanks.

I feel they are very analytical to my taste. The bass / mids are good. I am not very fond of their highs.

 

I also have Shure SRH840 &  Moster turbines. I was actually looking for something like 840 in an IEM when I bought the UM1's. Of course the turbines are not by any means accurate but I find them easy to listen to than UM1.'s.

 

Otherwise they are in great condition.

 

Also, I have ordered the K701 and I know I need an amp and these have to go.

Hi,

 

 

I sold these to navinprem and I must say that he is a very good person to do a transaction with. These are great headphones, and I took care of them when I had them. I bought them in october of 2009.
