Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...

I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...

Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...

They must get all kinds of random things though if that is their policy. So there must be some kind of auctioning or something.
This is somewhat encouraging... Per a 25 year USPS veteran employee ---
"It is not necessarily so that the piece would be taken. Because a repair is a viable solution, you may be given the option to retain the item and have it repaired. Because the cost estimate of the repair exceeds the insured amount, you would likely get the $700 to put towards the repair.
You need to retain ALL of the packaging materials as you will be asked to present all of that for inspection to determine if the item was adequately packaged. Because it was a puncture the went through to the item, you should not have a worry about the claim being denied for inadequate packaging."
At least there's a chance I won't get shafted!
