A smooth move from Microsoft. Their console gets one of the best car racing sims ever made and at the very same time they stop making their own forcefeedback wheel. Nice marketing strategy, idiots... If they are no longer interested, why not make their system public so there would be a ton of 3rd party ones for cheap (like PS3 has) so we could get good quality logitech wheels with full forcefeedback effects? Fanatecs are way too costly unless you are... well... fanatic. (no intentional pun intended)

But the price is insane.  With the wheel, the pedals, shifter(s), leather racing gloves, and some kind of a stand to mount it all on it is close to $500.  I cannot justify that for a $50 video game.

Kidding about the leather gloves, as far as you know.

Yeah, but thats not what it costed back then! I got mine used for 80€, and new ones were slightly above 100€. Someone is definetly leeching on discontinued product it seems.

Every x360 peripheral needs to have some special chip to work with 360, and that is why for example G25/27 doesn't work so the answer will be no.

Update:

I love this game.

And the 2009 Ford Focus RS is now my favorite vehicle. It's powerful and controls wonderfully. I created a custom decal job for it in honor of the Ford F150 raptor... which my neighbor drives much to my agony. Here's some (admittedly poor quality) pics of my current setup

And the specs (after like 25 grand worth of upgrades)

I don't know if any of yall are experienced in the decal editor, but is there a way to exactly mirror the decals from one side to the other of the car so that they are perfectly even?

Unfortunately no, there isn't. Pretty basic funcion which in my opinion is a must but somehow Turn 10 forgot about it.

Well that's too bad. Forgot about it? Or dilibertly discluded it so making decals is harder but that much more satisfying? Seems kinda hardcore to me...
