I bought this iPod Nano a little over a year ago. I disliked the newer 5th generation ones because of it's glossy look to it, so I bought this model before it was discontinued. iPod has been used a decent amount, but has a long life ahead of it. The unit itself has some some dings here and there, but from a distance, you can't even tell. I have a blue silicon case for it, so you can't even see the marks. Plus it adds a nice feel to the rather sharp edges of the iPod.
Don't have original packaging anymore but included are the USB to dock cable and the earphones, which is BRAND NEW and still wrapped in plastic (I am a Head-Fier afterall).
This in my opinion is the last great iPod Apple has ever made. Sound and build quality are great, and while thin, you won't crush it. And it would not shatter like an iPhone4 when dropped. Plus it still actually has a clickwheel and buttons, which some of us still prefer.
