Howdy,

My beloved Grado SR60 'phones seem to have taken a knock in a recent move. The jack no longer stays in the "right" position in my iPod. (Not providing stereo sound) I checked to ensure that it wasn't the iPod by trying it out with the normal apple 'phones, my Shure in-ears and my trusty Audio-Technica cans.

Is there a way I could fix this?

Yes, you can get another jack, cut off the old one, then solder the new one on. You'll only lose a little bit of the cord and new jacks aren't expensive unless you want them to be. If you've never soldered, there are a number of Head-Fi'ers capable of doing this for you. It shouldn't cost much, either.
