I actually would have ordered some IC's from Patrick but he doesn't make digital cables right now, so for now I'll stick with my Blue Jeans cables.
The main thing that attracted me to his power cables, aside from obviously being built with audio in mind, was that they looked flexible enough and easy to handle when I move my equipment. He was also more than willing to make them in any length I needed.
Hi Thaddy
I am about to be labelled a "Cable Troll" and there might be further posts after mine saying all kinds of strange and sometimes rude things. I won't be responding because I'm just popping in to make a suggestion.
Firstly I certainly do believe that cables hi fi can make a difference, though I think it is probably very slight.
Today I use good quality cables from the budget side of the audio cable market.
I would never spend a lot of money on these cables because the advantages touted by the manufacturers are without any evidence at all.
The differences people report they make are for the most part auto-suggestion to which we are all susceptible, including myself!
It is very rare for blind "ABX" listening tests on cables because, I believe, the cable manufacturers don't want any research like this performed on their products.
However there was one properly conducted ABX listening test conducted in 2004. In this test a comparison is made within a very high resolution system between the Nordost Valhalla (hugely expensive) power cable and generic standard power cables. Every single power cord in the high resolution system was exchanged with the Nordost Valhallas and yet in the extensive ABX test absolutely no statistical difference was found in the results in the sound of the system.
You might want to read the report of the test here:

I notice that in your question you say that you don't want a "bottleneck" in you system. If you look at the whole circuit in your system then you will see that "basic" cables within the system are already hugely over specified for their role. They really are the very last part that would represent a "bottleneck" in any shape or form.
You mention that you wish for someone to make some power cables for you. I'm sure he is a lovely guy, but I would suggest to you that the standard power cables you already have are very well fit for their purpose.
Years ago when I was living in London I had a very nice guy build one power cable for me. I put it into my CD player at that time and immediately I heard the wonderful sonic results that are reported to be brought by these power cables! Well, of course it just goes to show you how significant that auto-suggestion issue is... I still have that cable today and I can assure you that as a much more experienced listener to hi fi now than I was then, the cable makes absolutely no difference whatsoever to the sound in the system.
Please remember that I am not saying that "cables don't make a difference". What I am saying is that in all things hi fi auto-suggestion is hugely important and the reported consequences of changing cables is very often just people responding to auto-suggestion.
Thank you for reading my suggestions, I won't make another post in this thread.
Please enjoy whatever kind of music you like ! :)
