Well the impetus was getting "the beatles in mono" as a box set as a gift. I had kind of not really given them due respect since my dad considered them (john lennon especially) as gods
A couple of observations:
It is hard to believe that same band that made "all my loving"in few short years also did "helter skelter" and everything that was on the white album just a few short years later.
I also have a new respect for Paul. He could rock as hard as John, evidence: "I saw her standing there", and "Helter Skelter"
And from the audio snob side of things, the mono remasters are clearly superior to the stereo versions
