ive been told they go from 350-425 based on condition. can someone confirm those numbers?

$425? I think whoever told you that is  pretty optimistic. I've seen a couple of SM3 recently being sold for around $280 to $300 or so. The SM3 is currently going for $379 from sound earphones but they also have a 15% off coupon so I say around $300 sounds about right.
