I just bought a new rig, hence the sale. This started out as a one day fire sale, but since I've gone ahead and bought the new rig, i'm in less of a hurry!
The Dynalo is in great shape, and is built with premium parts - Vishay Dale RN60D MIL spec. resistors, all caps look to be Wima. Alps RK27 Blue Velvet pot. It has 2 inputs and a loop output. Built by Marshall Wyant (check AMB's web page for his builders, or search here for MisterX - a great builder!) I am the fourth owner. I think it was originally built in late 2007. The FS links below will allow you to track its history. You can see I tried to get this amp once in an earlier sale.
My only reason for selling is that I just bought a Headroom Ultra Desktop with max amp and max dac modules, a stepped attenuator and a Desktop Power Supply. I have always wanted to try a Headroom amp. I honestly doubt the Headroom amp is better than this Dynalo as far as the amp section goes, but curiosity has gotten the best of me!
The resistors sitting on top are to set the gain, as the board is socketed. Just to clarify, the resistors are just sitting there to show them, they live internally. I switched to 2.32 gain for my D7000's (25 ohm cans). It came to me at 5.75, via the larger pair of Vishay Dale RN60D resistors. The smaller pair of Vishay Dale RN55D's will yield 3.32 gain. I'll include all, and set it to any of the three values you prefer.
