FS: Stax DIY HybridAmp 220/230V SOLD SOLD AND SOLD

Putting up a interest check sale for my current Stax rig since I'm planning to switch back to a balanced dynamic rig, mainly because I'm missing a few things that electrostatic cans just can't offer.

Hybrid Amp

Build by rille2 with high quality parts, this sure is a heavy amp and nothing like the original design. There are four RCA 654A tubes in the output stage that offer a amazing amount of detail, warmth and bass. Rille has tested several tubes and came to the conclusion that these are indeed the best for the amp. It also has a low and high gain switch, Normal & Pro-Bias Sockets and a nice standby mode. You can view his other projects here. The amp would ship with four spare RCA tubes, several resistors so that you can adjust the gain even more and the manual. Total cost of this amp was 900$, so I'd let this go for 800$ 560$/440€. I'm interested in trades for a HD800, T1, HE-5, LCD-2, JVC-DX700/DX1000, or a Little Dot MKV IIISE / MKV I+ amp.

The amp has a new happy owner since around two months now, updated the title to reflect the changes.
