I've had my Klipsch X10 for a long time now and unfortunately as much as I love the sound I absolutely hate the wires. The jack broke once and I soldered a different one, which worked fine for a few months but now it's breaking up again. Also, I hate how stiff the wire became after some time.
Klipsch told me to go f** myself and that they don't repair wires. So my question is: what in your opinion should I do? I want to cut the wires a couple of inches from the earpieces and solder them to another wire set. As far as I can see there's no such thing as replacement wires on the internet, so I want to buy earphones just for the wire. What earphones available in the UK are in your opinion cheap and have a good, unbreakable wire with them?
