That was amazing.  So scary I couldn't listen to the whole thing.  No kidding.  I'll have to come back to that, maybe when I'm straight...

I know them but mainly because of the Akira soundtrack...

I'm pretty sure the scariest thing ever is "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima" by Krystoff Penderecki.  Listen to it on a headphone with good soundstaging in the middle of the night.

I've been listening to this stuff lately to get into the Halloween spirit.

 

Its called aggrotech.  I kind of ignore the vocals and image and listen to the dark trancey melodies. 

 

Pretty good stuff.

Just listen to this intro, but the whole album is pretty menacing to say the least.
