I need a little bit of help to choose some nice and cheap headphones and i was looking these ones:

Sennheiser HD 205-II

Philips SHP8500/00

AKG K 512

JVC HA-M750

or other

The usage for the headphones will be music listening (any genre), music production and some gaming.

I did a lot of research but nothing conclusive.

My budget is 50€ (with shipping included) and i'll buy in amazon.co.uk or ebay (EU)

Welcome to Head-Fi.

What equipment will you be plugging your new headphones into?

Computer sound card and hi-fi system.

You can give suggestions :)

For music production, I'd think you'd want a flat response, but more sound stage and bass for gaming. FWIR, the Superlux HD668B should do for music production and the HD681 for gaming. Search eBay for Superlux headphones.

I've seen some Superlux headphones but i don't know very much about them. Do you think that they have good quality?

I forgot to tell, my last headphones were the HD 201.

FWIR...

They seem to be good quality except for the ear pads, which you'll probably want to replace at some point. And you'd want to mod the HD681B. I suggest you search the web for HD681 and HD668B and read up on them.

What about a modded Grado 60?

I recently modded my Grado 125 and was hugely impressed with the results.

There is a recent thread here about modding the grado.

It would be fine, if i had money to buy a Grado 60... But thank you anyway.

I'm on an auction for an Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs.

Wish me luck :)

Well, after a research of 2 weeks i'll buy a pair of JVC HA-RX700. Nice bang for the buck.

Thanks for the help.

I know this is an old thread but I love the bass on the JVC HA M750 it extends deep and hit's fairly hard it's probably the best bass headphone in it's price point.  30 pounds is very good value and I prefer it to the CAL and AKG K518, it also works well with eqing.  The mids are pretty forward and the highs can sound harsh on some tracks but I love it's aggresive sound!
