I've been doing a bit of reading on doing a DIY LOD or a DIY interconnect. I was originally leaning towards doing the interconnect because I read the sound would be a little better than the headphone out.
But I began to second guess that decision when I read that not all LODs will operate with the 3g and the pin configurations would be different. The other bonus to having an interconnect is I can use it with another player (I also use a Zune 30g) when I'm not using my ipod touch.
So what would you all recommend? Going with an LOD because of the sound, or an interconnect because the sound wouldn't be far off from using an LOD and having the flexibility to use it with another player?
