Amp/Dac Combo

I have been trying to find a good amp/dac combo but cant really find a whole lot of information. I was looking for something around 200 dollars that i could use and later down the road buy a nice dedicated amp to work with it. I was considering the Maverick D1.

Any suggestions?

Tianyun Zero. Commonly known as the Zero dac. You'll find mixed reviews ranging from people saying there are quality issues to people raving about them.

I have a usb version and its been working great for I think about 1000 hours+ now?

Yes, the Zero is a great Amp/DAC combo. It is usually around $150. I bought mine last November or December and have I am guessing I have about 3000hours on it. I use it every day and it is on from the moment i get home from school until I go to sleep. I haven't had an issue with it at all.

No one has much experience with the maverick d1?

I listened to it back-to-back vs a Cambridge Audio 740C feeding an LD MkII, SPDIF signal coming from the Cambridge also. I don't know if my analog interconnects were not haivng good synergy or the output on the Cambridge isn't matching well with the input impedance on the MkII, but the CDP-DAC (it has SPDIF input) only had a wider stage and more extended highs, while the D1 sound "fuller" from the upper mids all the way to the low bass, and it didn't give up anything: it's just as fast, very musical, and far from sloppy.Used a Grado SR225, Sennheiser HD600 and fed the analog out to a custom 3-watt per channel all-tube SET poweramp on Klipsch horn speakers. Same observations through all transducers.
