How do you find the superfi 5 ?

You dont find many deals in Australia, but this seems ok

I just saw it today and bought it to try it out.

These are $189 over at Headphonic, which usually give the best deals, so I thought this was a good deal.

Not the first time I saw name of that website in the forum. It is a good deal for that price but you might want to read this before making any decision.

My friend actually got them from this place. The store is run by a guy named "Fast eddie" who also runs a computer store in Carlingford (NSW), who is notorious for being a pretty blunt guy, with pretty abrupt service. Despite this, he's not really dishonest - he has been in business for too long for that. For instance, my friend had the cable break on his Super Fis about 2 months later and he just gave him new ones.

 

I have no idea how he got these prices - he once had the UE700s for 135AUD, which was an even better deal .If you are near Carlingford it is actually better to go into the store (Fluidtek) to get them in person since they are $95 there and any warranty issues you deal with them directly. 

 

I can confirm they are legitimate, though your luck my vary with service.

Yes, we Australians need to stick together considering how badly we get exploited on headphone prices. :(

The deals are okay, but MSY and Mwave's prices are better... but maybe without the colourful service heh...
