Hi guys, I'm interested in trying out all sorts of non-dynamic headphones, and electrostatics fall right in that category. Unfortunately, I have a really limited budget, which means I'm probably limited to the vintage Stax stuff, and likely something well-used (though modern/mint is even better! :D)

Looking for either a working set (earspeakers + adaptor), with a budget of 300 USD. I'm also okay with just a pair of earspeakers, but normal bias only please - someone else is offering me an SRD-6 adaptor, which only works with normal bias; my budget for just the earspeakers is around 150~200 USD, since the adaptor itself was offered to me for 90 USD.

I understand that it's pretty ridiculous to expect a stat setup for 300 USD, but I have seen some people sell theirs for lower here. Please let me know if you're selling something at least within that neighborhood, give or take 50 or 100 USD I guess? I'm very flexible. This is going to be for purely desktop use though, so I'd rather not take the in-ear type of Stax. Cosmetic damage isn't a problem, though it definitely is if it's something that affects the performance!

I can pay through Paypal, or I can trade a pair of modded Ultrasone HFI-780's + cash if anyone's interested. Please PM me for details.
