I had nearly closed on a trade deal for a pair of DT-880s, but the guy decided to flake at the last moment, saying that he wanted to instead sell them to me.
Well, anyways, so I decided to buy a brand new pair of DT-880 PROs, but that leaves me with this mint pair of SRH-840s. They have less than 3 listening hours on them, and include the original box and carry bag.
For those that have not experienced the SRH-840s, they are very comfortable closed circumaural cans, and they have slightly enhanced bass response - yet very tastefully done.
The reason I'm looking to get rid of these is that I have quite a collection of closed-ear cans, and I'd like to start getting into semi-open designs instead.
