Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...

I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...

Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...

When I first put them on on I though that the highs will blow my head off. My ears got tired after 10 - 15 minutes. I though I would throw them out of the window. But having read some good...

Recoveries? Not exactly. Magical medicine? Yes.
I had ulcers caused by some serious GERD (and improper drinking habits) significantly improved by Nexium. I also had the unfortunate experience of gallstone attacks (extremely terrible debilitating pain) later prevented by a cheap over-the-counter medication called Buscopan.
Both medications make living that much more comfortable-- which is a miracle to me!
When I was younger I worked at a retirement center. This place was like a hotel by the beach. Most older people who lived there could get around fine. Many had their own car and enjoyed the place like a hotel where their rooms were cleaned daily and they could eat in a big dinning room with out having to cook.
I would arrive to work at 8:00am and daily would see this 84 year old man come walking in from his walk along the beach. Some days, if I was grumpy this guy would really make me mad. It is 8:00am I have not had time yet to wake up and this guy comes storming in happy as hell every day. He was thin and and nimble walking really fast with this big smile on his face. He would greet me with this big happy "Hellooo" then sprint to his room! He took a walk everyday along the beach and would return at 8:00am to wash up and have breakfast.
About 4.5 years of this go by and one day his family tells me his story.
When the man was 82 he had a stroke. The stoke left him with only the capacities of a new born. He family put him into a care center where he stayed for two years. Everything had to be done for him as he could not eat, walk....nothing! His family would come by daily to see him but unlike a baby, his face was lacking any expression to show he knew them. He just looked into space with this blank expression. The family asked the Doctor what they could do and the Doctor said there is nothing that can be done at this point. His body was fine but the stoke was the cause of not being able to learn a new life and the cause of forgetting his old life.
One day the care center personal heard this huge swack! This man had somehow got up to the edge of his bed and fell straight head first onto the hard tile floor. The smack on his head had caused him to "wake-up"! He had full memory of his life right up to the day he had his stroke. The next thing he could remember was hitting his head on the floor of the care center. He had no memory of being in the care center for two years. He had no memory of the tests he had to go threw. It was just like he had fallen asleep the day he had his stoke and woke up two years later!
His family informed him of what had happened and he found out about his new lease on life. The new lease may be an explanation for his way of acting every morning. From then on I was happy as he was when he walked threw that door!
