Using DAC's XLR output for RCA Amp via adapter cable

Not sure why I haven't posted this before!  I currently use a Stello Da100 Signature for my DAC.  It has 2 outputs, 1 for RCA and 1 for fully balanced XLR.  I also have 2 RCA amps.

Is it a bad idea to get an adapter for XLR to RCA for the second amp?  I see that Neko Audio DAC's recommend a setup like this for their DACs for SE operation.

I asked BJC for a price on cables but they mention an adapter like this can lead to problems, not quite sure on what problems may be!

No problem at all.  I use them all the time.  Hosa GXF-132 is what you need.  I linked Amazon, but Sweetwater sells them too.

Enjoy!
