"ChiUniFi 4" the Official and Annual Chicago Headphone Get-together November 13th 2010 - Page 7

Another Friend has agreed to a donation for the raffle.  I have sent Billy the information.  I have another that is getting close to committing but should know something hopefully this week.

With the above friend's generous donation the retail value of ChiUniFi's raffle prizes has exceeded..........and there are still some unknown donations yet.

To be posted by Billy on post 2 during his next update.

Looks like I can attend if there is room. I have some stuff in my profile I can bring if anyone is interested.

I'd love to go if there is still room. I doubt anyone is interested in my stuff, do let me know if I'm wrong though.

Was excited to see ChiUniFi 4 noted in the latest HeadFi newsletter and wondered if you're at capacity yet?  I'll be in Chicago that weekend and have never been to a meet.  As someone just becoming a "headfier", have a zillion questions about gear.  My "rig" is quite modest so far (Grado SR225s, Sennheiser 550s, NuForce Icon portable and iPod, Sony, iRiver sources).

Please let me know -- and thanks!

umm, I am coming for sure if no emergencies. Anyone need a ride?

Can you bring your HD-800?  It would be much appreciated.  I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

Probably a dumb idea but anyone think on how to capture some of the meet and upload it to You Tube?

Well if someone's got a decent camera.  I'm pretty good with video editing and can put together a decent looking video from whatever manages to get shot.

I don't own a video camera myself though.

I have a digital camera that can record videos, but not in HD. Hopefully someone has a much better camcorder than mine.

Not a problem giving the 225s a listen -- I'll have them along.  They've been a pleasant surprise so far and the price was great.  $100 from Outlaw Audio when I bought a receiver from them earlier this year.  Well worth it!

I've got a flip video ultra HD that I can bring along, but I don't have a great desire to be shooting video. If someone would like to act as camera man, they can be in charge of shooting some video, and I'll send the clips to whoever would like to edit them. We have to make sure everyone agrees to be filmed though. Just in case Billy is in whitness protection or something.

I apologize for the lack of updates, been super busy with lighting for the last two weeks...weird but it's a good thing.

Updates will come this week, first the update to the friends list then i will put together the attendee list and send out confirm pm's.
