Before I PM you billy, my friend is unsure because it still is a long way to go until nov 13. Can I fill it out now and give you an update if my friend(s) are coming or not later? Who knows, it could be till the last minute for them to decide. I hope it won't be a problem.

Updated gear list, as PMed in conformation.  I have too much stuff it seems...

Headphones: Senn HD650, Sony XB700, AT ATH-M50, Beyer DT770/600 w/ gel pads, AKG K340, Koss KSC75, Shure SE530, maybe Grado SR325i

Amps: Maverick D1 DAC/amp combo, Indeed G2 Hybrid, Total Bithead mobile DAC/amp combo, Bottlehead Crack, maybe an external transformer box for the Crack if I get the parts in time

Source: Asus 1005HA > Maverick D1 or Total Bithead, Cowon D2+

Cables:  Radio Shack, Monoprice, and pack ins

Bringing a few different opamps for I forget who to try out.  I can bring a small assortment of 6922 and 12AU7 tubes as well if anyone's interested.  Might as well bring my miniature 2 amp power conditioner as well.

Ok I have one extra person confirmed, he will bring the new Grado 325, what ever that model is now smily_headphones1.gif I will check with him.

That would be me.  much appreciated.  I have the standard cmoy, and I'll bring an extra battery if we need more power.

I would be interested in trading some 12AU7 to use in my Raptor. It uses single 12AU7 and a pair of 5687. I think I have some duplicates in the 12AU7 I could trade.

Checked with my friend he will bring his Grado SR325i.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, this is my first meet. Do I need to bring a table to put my equipment on? I'm bringing what is listed in my sig. Any other tips I need to know?

usually not.  just bring your gear, powerstrip, extension cord.  those are usually most helpful.  billy can confirm.

I use a NOS Telefunken currently in my Raptor and a NOS  Mullard in my Stealth.  I recently ordered a Pavane / Psvane Reference series 12AU7-T vacuum tube from Grant Fidelity one of the Friends of ChiUniFi IV along with an 12AT7, which provides a little more gain for my Stealth.  I think with shipping they are currently running about $84 for the 2 tubes.

The other tube you may want to try in the Raptor is the 12BH7.  I don't recall what I purchased a pair for but I don't think it was over $100.

With all that said, the rumor is the Telefunken is the best match but it is fun to tube roll and hear the differences.  I think it also may depend on the headphones you are using, what sounds best.

there will be space to set up on of course, might wanna bring an extra power cord or strip..those never go wrong in a meet when they are needed and if an extra is needed.
