Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread - Page 59

I've never had a pair crack BUT wood means the possibility is always there.  The crack most people got was at the connector but there are plenty of other stress points in the wood.

Check eBay every so often!

But honestly, the LCD2 are hardly ever part of any sales or deals.

Just buy them even if you have to at retail price. They're THAT good.

Audeze controls the price for new cans.   No discounts from authorized resellers.

http://www.soundearphones.com/collections/audeze/

Has free Overnight Shipping and a good return policy.

I looked on eBay for used for quite a while.  There were several listing for Rev 1's at $850. but no rev 2's

Since rev 1's are 18 months old, it makes no sense whatsoever, when new rev2's are $999.

If rev 2's show up here, on Audiogon, or eBay, they will not be there for long.  As in a couple minutes.  Those will be at least $800, but often over $1,000 because they will include a custom cable that you may not want (No Need)

Really? I see them used for $700 on here..

Rev1 can go down to $700, Rev2 usually go for $800-900 depending on age.

I bought some used rev1's that I paid $650, with the case and Q-cable.

But they are rare.

Until I bought my new r2's I was looking a lot.

I decided on new.

However this may be of interest.

Hello,

We spoke recently regarding a pair of Audeze LCD-2 in Bamboo and you told me to inform you if we get an open-box pair of LCD-2 in stock. Well, we just received a pair from a customer who had to return them due to financial issues. Let me know if you are still interested and we can work out a deal on them. Feel free to email or give me a call.
