I have read tons of different reviews about Lcd-2 and Burson Hd-160 series amplifiers. Is here anyone who owns the thing and can tell me some real thoughts? :D

Check out the Lake People G100. Ears I trust recommend it over the Burson. Lake People is the proffesional series of Violectric, ot more correctly, Lake People makes Violectric targeted at less professional consumers :)

You may
It's the "mighty" National Union 596. They need an adapter from 2359Glenn to go into the WA22's 5U4G/274B socket:
If you run across any, I would love to find a backup and I know another member that would as well. Glenn used his last batch of relevant parts to assemble my adapter so that could be an issue as well. It's the first rectifier that is on par with the Sophia Princess for me, it may even surpass it. I was a bit skeptical last fall when Glenn first introduced them, I'm sure that you remember. But that dude really knows his stuff.
I had a chance to borrow one a month or so ago, and then I had to find my own

They went for a song last fall but now seem to be as scarce as hen's teeth

At first it was a bit much for me with the HD 800 but now I like it out of both headphones quite a bit. The Princess seems mellow in comparison which is really something IMO

It's my favorite martian!

Are you two discussing my $15 rectifier? In my view, the Mighty 596 took down my $175 rec (Miss Sophia), asking her to return to the dressing room... immediately! And sent the $260 Tourist from Eastern Europe packing... how rude!

It still is (cheap) 'cause dealers ain't on to it. And those sittin' on inventory don't even know we're seeking 'em out!
Or that they have stock and completely forgot about it. So, how do we go about inquiring without setting off a frenzy (wave of speculation)? Funny but, when Glenn told me the adapter cost more than the tube, I was actually mulling skipping it! But when Clayton SF weighed-in... then dannie01, I was ALL in!

Ive never heard Rev2...some prefer 1 to 2 and others the other way around, I would say that the cable would improve the sound signal...I like my whiplash Cu cable that came with my Rev1s...I do want to try a pure silver cable too....I have the stock cable but its just wrapped in a baggie, so I havnt done any A/BingReturn HomeBack to Forum: Headphones (full-size)- Audeze LCD-2 Appreciation Thread
