I received my HE-5 (new) on January 12th of this year and used them 5-6 times a week until some time after I got the HE-5LE in May.  I probably used them around 2-4 hours during the week and 4-5 hours on weekends.

 

They have only been used by me in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.  They have no wood cracks that I can see and I have never applied any sort of cleaning/preserving liquids to them.  They are as you see them in the pictures.

 

I can ship to Australia for an extra $50.
