FS: Audio-Technica ATH-ESW9 Headphones (FAKE) ★SEALED★ - SOLD!

Let me get this out of the way first.

These are a pair of fake Audio-Technica ESW9 headphones that I accidentally purchased off of eBay for $180. The original seller has disappeared, so there is no hope of getting my money back.

Functionally and cosmetically, these headphones are perfect. The "retail" box is actually still sealed.

From what I have heard, these headphones make excellent donor headphones for modding and driver transplanting.

Because of everything, I'll sell these for only $SOLD. International buyers may contact me for shipping prices.

The seller removed all his payment lines and deactivated his account.

Hmm I wonder how these sound, or what the driver size is on these faked ones.

Did you purchased it from a Thailand seller...? I've seen something very similar recently.

$180 dollars....wow.... you should have got it for $45 including shipping from overseas....

By the way, you can still file a claim on Paypal and see how it goes.

Nope, it was an American seller.

I already filed the claim. Nothing really happened.

That is correct, as long as you purchased the item from eBay, PayPal backs the purchase. After you file a claim, what PayPal will make you do is get a written appraisal from a dealer or other expert, verifying that the item you received is fake. If you have a good relationship with a local AV shop, bring in the phones, along with print outs of all the threads that detail how to tell real ESW9 from fake, and they can write up a brief statement verifying that what you got is fake.

If PayPal accepts that the item is fake, you will be required to destroy the fake item (and swear to it in writing), after which PayPal will refund your money. If you sell the fake item beforehand, you will not be able to recover any payment from PayPal. I suggest that you pursue the PayPal refund route, and only sell the fakes if PayPal refuses a refund.

SOLD!

And to everyone else, I've already tried several times (over the course of half a year) to get my money back.

Neither PayPal nor eBay will budge.
