I had the ie8's briefly but I didn't really like them, they have the house sennheisser bass hump, Ive had the shure 535 for about a year and I really like them their quite 'neutral' maybe slightly mid forward and compared to the triple.fi slightly warm bass extends down quite well and is nicely textured my only criticism of the 535's is the treble is slightly rolled off. From what Ive read the ie8's might have a better soundstage but im a fan of BA's as they are quite fast. I havn't heard the Monsters as I wont spend that kind of money on something that doesn't have replaceable cables.
