Has anyone had experience w/the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. It's just been released on AT&T here in the US, and I'm wondering how it fare as a media player (4" screen size and all).

Thanks in advance,....

Hi

havent experienced the xperia x10 but i have extensively used experia x10 mini pro

Media player is very basic with no eq settings in the audio player

BUT to my surprise this little phone sounds fantastic........REALLY GOOD

way better than any mobile phone i've heard.

In fact it easily competes my Sony a726 ,E444, S639

Its quite loud with very strong & punchy bass. Overall sound sig. is mostly like A726; very liquid & slightly warm with great bass.

Hmm, I want, need an EQ. Lets see if it has 1, or if it's like a bigger version on your experia x10 mini pro. Thanks for the help BTW.

Any chance of posting back with your impressions of the X10?

I use the Xperia x10 mini, because I wanted a small smartphone.

This thing is a beast! The sounds quality is just fantastic compared to other portable players I have had. I think this is because of the "Sony" in Sony-Ericsson.

I downloaded a great music app called mortplayer. It's clever and works great. You can download mixzing or poweramp if you want EQ settings.

I am very happy with the phone as it is now not only my phone, my music player (bought a 16gig SDHC card for it) and my GPS...all packed away into a tiny little package.
