I've been running my 880/600 out of a little dot Mk Iv se for about a week now and am really happy with it. Well built and it sounds great. I'm running this for a vinyl rig.

Hi Stevtt

you running on 600ohm DT 880 beyer? What gain setting did you set? How did you do it. Open up the amp. Do you have to remove the tubes first?

Tell me about it please.

Yes, 600's. You can download the instructions if you don't have them but you don't have to open it up to set the. Gain. Look underneath and in the hole toward the front and you will see white switches. Use a small screwdriver and set both to off. That will be high gain

Thanks Stevtt,

I just got my Mk IV SE today and first thing I did was to set the gain to high.

Now burning in the phones and amp....
