I like this progress! biggrin.gif

Sure will be great to see how this turns out, design, size and especially sound wise.

I am interested in this.

But why don't you use a volume control like in your pico slim ?

I would be extremely interested in a setup like this for my desk.  The small size as well as the integrated dac seems killer to me!

Glad you found the thread tongue.gif

Haha yes!  You got me very excited about this amp just from your description.  Doesn't hurt that it will have BHSE style chasis and an amp section designed by KG!

I am very excited about this! Can't wait.

After zooming in very closely I believe it is an PCM1792. Not sure though...

If it's true the specs do look promising.

yes it is.  and just to get this future question out of the way -- PCM1792 and PCM1794 are the same, the difference is PCM1792 can be controlled by software rather than hardware.

Is this supposed to take place of the G.Lite in the line up?

Isn't that kinda addressed in the very first post?

I enjoy solid state, too. My KGSS and Concerto get much love.

I guess you are right in a way

"In some ways, this is a replacement for the discontinued Gilmore Lite.  In other ways, it's an upgrade over all the other desktop amps I currently offer." - Justin W.

It leaves a grey area as to what is an "upgrade" besides the fact that it has an optional DAC and unity gain for IEM's. It seems like it wants to fit in a small niche area of users who want a small/affordable/flexible unit but still leaves room for improvements in the grand scheme of this hobby.
