I recently picked up a Presonus HP4 for just a few dollars, and it's surprisingly powerful. Anybody else like (or dislike) this amp? It drives my 600 ohm T1 just fine with only a quarter turn of volume. For the price, I think it's a way better starter amp than any of the soundcards or portables recommended here. Only $125 and it drives any headphone well. Not as well as a thousand dollar amp, but it's way better than anything else for $100, in my opinion. That would be the budget setup I recommend to all those people who ask for "a cheap amp."
