Need help connecting my AMP/Dac to Pc

Hello all,

 

I'm a rookie when it comes to Amps and sources. 

 

I just received my Matrix mini I in the mail today and hooked it up to my PC via Usb and yet no sound. 

 

The Matrix shows that it recognizes the PC and my Pc recognizes the Matrix.

 

I've also made sure that all the settings are correct on the Matrix.

 

I'm wondering if there's some kind of adjustment that I have to make on my Pc to allow the Usb to transmit sound?

 

I have an X58 SLI LE Motherboard, it has its's own 5.1 audio chip and I'm also wondering if thats conflicting with the Matrix? 

 

I'm just flabbergasted at the moment so any help would be hugely appreciated.

If you're using Win7 right click on the speaker icon down in the systray.  Choose playback devices and change the default to your new DAC.
