Just purchased these special cans from a great head-fier, but not the sound I'm looking far. They are highly detailed and should be driven by a neutral SS amp for best results. This headphile creation provides clean, tight, and impacting bass that doesn't cloud the mids or highs. So, if you're bass shy, I honestly would pass up. It is, however, very comfortable with the removable buyer headband pad and leather ear pads. Out of full disclosure, there's an extremely shallow, small nick in the wood near the outer center of the left can which is shown in the first picture below. As you can see, my claim is identicle to the previous seller and is almost invisible unless you were looking very closely and purposely trying to find it. This beautiful creation can be yours for $300 shipped CONUS, which is exactly what I paid a week ago.
- Beyer's DT770/32 "Manufaktur" closed headphones
- 32 ohms
- Modified by Headphile with rosewood cups
- BlackMax recable (approx. 6ft)
- Beyer leather pads.
- Terminated to 1/8, but includes 1/4 converter
