I had no idea what this was worth, but it is way cool if it gets back to it's builder.

This didn't sell for around 10 hours at $100???  Have people on this forum completely lost their minds?  I wish I had seen it today.  I don't need another amp, but for $100 I would have snatched this up.

OK, so what is the going rate for this amp?

Depends. The range is usually $175-250.  The current version which is bought as a kit from Beezar goes for around $240 shipped and then you need to build it.  You'll have to open it up and see the version of the PCB and its internal goodies.  It may have boutique parts such as the much desired BlackGates and such. Those Sylvania's are very nice tubes.

Wow, congrats. This is a really good amp at a sick price! If it went to Tomb I'm sure it will be put to good use, he sure has a lot of passion for the Milletts

Just an FYI, but what beachgeek sold is known as an original revMH Millett Hybrid.  These were the PCB's designed and group-buyed by Drew Dunn and Nate Maher, details are here: http://www.diyforums.org/millett.html , but you can also reference the "Millett Hybrid history" on any of the MAX websites for further details, too.  This was the second version of the venerable Millett Hybrid design, after the original PCB design that was in Pete Millett's AudioXpress magazine article.

This is NOT the much improved and much later version of the Colin Toole - designed Millett Hybrid MiniMAX that's sold on Beezar.  As dizzyraider says, I have a lot of passion for Milletts of any stripe.  I sold four of these several years ago - before I got into business, but always regretted that I didn't save one for myself for posterity's sake.  When I saw that this was one of my builds, well ...
