Portable aftermarket case to house HD650?

Does anyone use a portable case to carry their HD650? Links please? Thanks.

Believe it or not, depending upon what look you're going for a handgun case works wonderfully.  You can find them at any sporting goods store, are built like tanks, and are relatively inexpensive.  I have an aluminum one that I carry my HD-590's in, and it works wonderfully and looks classy.

Thank you sir. Very interesting idea indeed! Has anybody tried a 600 or 650 with this case? http://www.slappa.com/headphone-case The 600 and 650 are pretty large as they don't fold or anything for storage. I really just want something I can toss in my backpack and not worry about them. I'll definitely check out some handgun cases though.

A gun case would be good if the 600/650 folded flat, which they don't. And I have the Slappa, it's too small.

That one works great for HD600/650; you need to detach the cable for safety but it has a storage pocket.

Thanks. That thing is almost a backpack itself though. I wish there was a hard shell form fitting case for the 650. Something that would fit in my backpack. Being such a popular headphone, you'd think there'd be some cases designed specifically for the 650, ya know? With the fall approaching, I plan on using my cans for portable more as it won't be so hot. Hopefully I'll find a suitable candidate by then... Any other cases?

Does anybody have experience with this case? The Koss Carrying Case B.   http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=headphone+case&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&cid=4114040007673312390#

Hmm... "Available in 3 additional sizes to fit a variety of Koss headphones"; there must be an A and C model as well.

Yes, but from what I can tell, this one is the biggest. It says it's made for the PortaPro, SportaPro, QZ2000, KTX8, KSC17, P14, P16, Pop Gloss. Are any of those comparable in size to the 650?

The Headroom bag isn't as large as it appears in the photos. I have one, An olded model I think, it measures  7.5"W X 8.5"H X 3"D. I owned the 650 and the bag held tham nicely.

Thanks man. I actually dug up on old unused nylon lunch bag that will work quite well until I find a smaller form fitting hard shell case. I stuff the cans inside two Crown Royal bags (one bag around each driver and up to the top where they both meet in the middle) and put them in the bag. It's even got a pouch on the front that holds the cable. Then it has another compartment inside that holds my amp, LOD and amp straps. All tucks pretty nicely inside my backpack. This will suffice for the moment.

Yeah the Headroom bags seem like they are made for the 600/650.
