Good reviews on this media player.  Does anyone know what OS it is using, anyone try it?

Might have been interesting if it had Android, but it seems to have a proprietary OS.

And the size is too big to be called portable. Perhaps you can call it transportable.

Looks like a clone of chinese PMPs released last year, Bmorn BM-870 and Benss X639.

There's Archos 5 if it's an Android driven PMP you're looking for. It's expensive at least compared to chinese made tablets. You can buy 7 inch Android tablets on Ebay from 100 dollar.

If only 100 dollar, the quality maybe not trustful, I found ownta has some machines on sale: http://www.ownta.com/wholesale-dropship-computers/tablet-pc-mid-and-umpc/

Anyone try one of those before ?

I'm not sure Archos 5 IT is 100% Android, it seems multimedia part is supported by the Archos system not Android.

I didn't, they're MID not PMP, in your list I think I would choose Witstech A81, but for multimedia purpose I would buy Cube H900 or Ainol V6000HDT. Chinese manufacturers improved a lot in hardware (for the local market) but not in software (user interface).

(Ownta is maybe not the best place, they're a bit expensive)
