Just joined the T1 club
Had a pair of HD800 for half a year, was pretty happy w them until I got the RS1. Those HD800 seldom had any head time w RS1 around. Just felt they sounded a bit too thin. I drove them w the Violectric deck. So I sold those over a month ago.
Well, felt my Violectrics kinda wasted w/o a pair of top end cans, so I bought a T1 to fill in. Had them for over two weeks now, really love how they sound, especially paired w the Audiolab 8200CD and V200 combo (better than the V800/V200 deck to my ears). The T1s are great for movies too, better than my previous favourite movie headphones DT770Pro/80 which I sold subsequently.
Very happy with what I have now

Quote:Nah, the RS1 will still be around. I'm using it as a portable headphones (together w/ Cowon S9) at home when I'm walking around or company the kids when they are study. It's good to be able to listen to music while still hear what they are talking about, meantime won't disturb them :)

It really surprises me how infrequently this is mentioned. With the way movies are available to view in HD on laptops, tablets, phones, etc, I would imagine that people are using headphones for movie watching more than ever before, yet it seems that I rarely hear it mentioned. That being said, I totally agree...the T1s offer an amazing movie experience!
Welcome to the club, btw :)

Thanks :)
Got two kids at home, I can only watch movies after 10pm. The HT setups are mostly used by the kids during weekends. The headphone output from my Onkyo TX-SR608 is surprisingly good, especially when plugged in a pair of 300-600ohm headphones.

Anyone willing to sell their T1's? I've been looking ages for a pair used for a decent price in UK and had no luck whatsoever, I wanna try em so bad
I'm very tempted just to get them new from Beyer tbh. Also would an M-Stage work well with these? or would I need to upgrade.
post #3793 of 46023/7/13 at 7:44amQuote:I would try and find a shop with a generous return policy so you can try them relatively risk free. That will allow you to hear it with the M-Stage for yourself and see how transparent your source is...Originally Posted by spark3

I just posted a review of a new amp called the iCAN that is sounding very good with my T1s:http://www.head-fi.org/t/654405/ican-amp-review-a-new-amp-that-gives-you-more-more-bass-more-soundstage-and-more-detail
I am loving the bass this amp can create with its X-Bass feature. The T1s have such clean and tight bass, and then this amp gives them more body and slam without losing any of the tightness. It is especially fun with music that brings out my inner basshead, but there are a couple of levels of bass boost, so you can always tailor it to your taste or your music.
