I do agree with this too.
Like the Shure SE530/535s of the full sized headphone world.

Mine is #1009. My serial # is so low because I'm so much more important than you all. Sounds surprisingly good out of a dynalo and presonus HP4.
Hey guys, know any music I can get to show these off? I love how Opeth sounds on them and my movie soundtracks sound very good as well.
Been listening to the soundtrack of blade runner recently, by vangelis. It sounds great on the T1s. Though I bet it would sound great on HD800s too,
I like the HD800's but they a bit lean sounding for my tastes. I will listen to that soundtrack.
Farewell to Kings, Dark Side of the Moon?
I have DSOTM already from MFSL. It does sound good. I also have The Wall on the way.
Rush and Pink Floyd are amazing with the T1s. Try some Zeppelin and Sabbath. The T1s have usurped my RS1i's as my favourite rock cans.
Hows does the latest Rush sound on them?
Even better. The sound reproduction technology has gotten so good since the '70s and '80s and Snakes and Arrows is really good!
How did you know I was a Rush fan?
try Satisfaction by Benny Benassi
The background electrical/radio kind noise feels coming from a wider soundstage than other parts of the song, it sounds pretty neat
As for more soundtracks, Clint Mansell music is nice. Soundtrack from the movie Requem for a dream - Lux Aeterna and from the movie Smokin Aces - Dead Reckoning
Blade runner has a pretty good soundtrack, scores like tears in the rain, you will hear water dropping in the background...
The Lord of the Rings soundtrack is excellent. Also Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace by David Arnold. And the soundtrack to Star Trek The Motion Picture (first movie) by Jerry Goldsmith with the awesome Blaster Beam on several tracks. There's some wonderful deep bass in some of the tracks, notably The Cloud and V'ger Flyover.
Shpongle sounds great! Several times listening to that I had to yank off the phones because I swore I heard something in the house. But no, it was all coming through the phones.
Also heard a live Pink Floyd concert on an old Brain Damage podcast (don't know which one for sure) that created the space and soundstage so realistically that it sounded like I was in the audience.
But really, anything you like that's well recorded and produced shows its stuff on the T1s. They really seem to shine in any genre.
sigh... ah the sound of the T1 back in my ears. the only way im selling it is if i need to pay rent or upgrading lol
Dave, how do you like it after I balanced it for you? I believe they get a snappier sound when balanced.
EDIT: My dad has a Audio Fidelity pressing of Montrose and it sound incredible!!
