Does anyone know what mm size the drivers are? I know that most beyerdynamic have 45mm drivers, but I'm not sure about this one (can't find any information about it online).

I wanted to buy T1 drivers and put them in a dampened DT 770 housing (need them to be closed back for libraries and such). I need to know what size the drivers of the T1s are, so I can know if they can fit. I already have a friend from Germany who is willing to ship it out to me. Seeing as how they are not available on the North American market:

Have I mentioned in this thread that the T1 sound amazing with the Metrum Aurix amplifier?  If not, I have now.  Seriously, amazing.

The clarity, the body of the sound but not at the expense of speed, and the tone, the soundstaging/imaging - all :L3000:

I have paired the T1 with the Vincent KHV-1 head amp and pre amp.

I bought the amp for 760 euros.

Max volume i can bare is 11 o clock...More than that i will go deaf.

Can anyone propose me tubes for that combination ; Its of the 12AX7 type.

Thanks!

after a couple weeks of relaxing my neck I am back to the X, and hear all that i was missing... mostly the grooving bass lines are what makes me smile most.

I called beyerdynamic's sales manager of the USA, and he said that the drivers were 45mm.
