Congrats! You'll love them. What amp are you going to be using?

Nothing I have currently will really do the T1 justice, but my temporary amp will be the FiiO E12. I have both of the crowdfunded Light Harmonic Geek products coming this year and that's what will eventually be amping the T1, but until then I just have to make do with what I have.

I can't wait for your impressions on the Geek Pulse (the desktop one?) with the T1

I also placed an order through buydig, I'm pretty excited to get them.

I have previously used DT 880 Premium 250ohms, and my amp is a Little Dot MKIII.  How pleased will I be?

The deal is finished already.

Interesting to see how they juke Amazon out of proper automated competitive pricing by using the advertise a different price then your cart idea.  In fact the advertised price was even inflated to force Amazon to take the high road.

I just ordered a pair of T1s to complement my HD800s. I was going to get HE-6s but apparently they need a huge amp, and this was my second choice. Can't wait til they come.

oh no what the hell?!?!

edit: no they're about $1,400 there just like everywhere else http://www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=BEYT1 even after you add to cart.

That is because the sale recently ended.

that seems really odd. buydig is selling them for about $730 if you ignore shipping. how could they possibly have purchased them cheaply enough to sell them for $730? (does anyone know the wholesale price?)

let's see if you guys actually get them, and they're authentic, not refurbished/open box, warrantied and so on. it's odd that buydig would offer such a huge discount.

i'm kind of annoyed now though. kind of cheapens the headphones and removes some of the joy I would have felt using them.

Thanks for your detailed explanation StanT. I will certainly revisit this post when I finally obtain the WA2.

I think I really hate this hobby. It's supposed to give you pleasure, but all it does is wind up aggravating you. if it's not the constant search for the better sound, it's ******** like this. As soon as my T1s come, unless they're amazing, I'm going to return them.
