No HE-500 love? There are a few popping up on the classifieds around $500 these days with the impending release of the HE-400i / 560

good for the market.

in these days i´m listening the T1 with the áudio-gd nfb-10se.

this combo is not at the level of my principal rig but is a reaslly interesting combination.

it´s not always necessary to spend a lot of Money for a good sound.

@headwhacker- The T1 and Alpha Dog are totally different beasts.  The AD sounds better in my opinion but is closed and heavier.  The T1 is brighter and more whispy, the AD has more groove and mid to low drive.  The LCD-X blows both of them away and not by a small margin but costs 3 times the AD.  If I didn't care about the cost or recognized how cheap headphones are over their lifetime and considering they are one of the few things in life I use every day and wanted one end all headphone it would be the LCD-X hands down.  It is worth saving up a little more for and then ultimately enjoying forever. :L3000:

How is the LCD-X treble compared to T1 ? I heard the LCD-3 & found it pretty dark for my liking. T1 has one of the best treble I have heard on a HP IMHO.

The LCD-X treble beats the T1 without compromise.  Has more extension but does not have the treble peak that the T1 has, much flatter and broader.

Agreed.  The T1's overall signature is very versatile.  I'm a fan.

I'm one of the AD's fan but the T1 sounds much better than the AD. The AD is one of the best close back headphones though.

Anyone have a picture of the T1 with mini XLRs coming out instead of the OEM direct wire?  Am thinking of sending mine to someone to convert to mini XLR to use with Q-Audio cable and want to know how they look with this mod.

I believe BTG Audio has some pictures of Beyer phones with this mod in their image gallery.  Not sure if it's cool to link sites or what not, but a google search will turn it up as the first result.

So when my cable craps out (again) i dont have to send it off to be recabled. I suppose i could trust myself to DIY it too.
