It's somehow crazy, but  the sound character total transform to another thing.

Very transparent and fast sound, just like the diaphragm disappears, and incredible huge sound-scape.

The sound-scape very like binaural  recoding , less pin-pont , more diffused.

Beyerdynamic, what the Monster Headphone you made !

This may be a case of your brain burning in to your headphones.

This phenomenon has been known to occur after a realization of the impact of your headphones on your wallet  :confused_face(1):

I guess it depends on your amp, but (at least on my system) I do notice the HD800s have a wider dynamic contrast than the T1s.

Interesting.

I too have had my T1 3 years as last week.

They still sound exactly the same to me:

Awesome:darthsmile:.

it seems like the 800's played louder. Like they would have crushed my skull if I turned them up enough

I am gonna sell my HD800. They are too boring for me. I don't listen to any classical and all my music is upbeat energizing mostly, so I don't have any reason to keep the 800. While they are comfy, and look sick, there is no more reason to have them lol

P.S. my HD800 is more sesitive than my t1 too

Anyone tried watching the Breaking Bad BDs on the T1s? **** sounds real.

Anyone some pics of my current setup:

P.S. my HD800 is more sensitive than my t1 too

So you think the HD800 is best for classical only? What about jazz, female or male vocals, and live acoustic and folk?

Better amping would change all that.

My HD800's sound superb on rock and metal with my Master-6. Stunning openness, detail, speed, bass control, dynamics and PRaT.

But the T1's are mightily impressive as well.

Yeah, it seems a bit like that. There seems to be an extraordinarily large number of HD800 owners that feel it necessary to enlighten T1 owners of the many reasons their headphone is superior.

They're both great headphones with different tastes.
