The T1 complement them nicely. That's why I bought them. With the WA2, the treble shouldn't be too harsh, that's a good match aswell !

I'm looking forward for your review ;).

i'm 3 weeks away from ordering them. So ill be back on this thread with a bang then!!

You can get the pelican case with pluck out foam so you should be able to get a nice fit (plus the case is waterproof and is pretty much indestructable)

Which pelican case are you referring to?

I'd go for the T1's soundstage.L3000.gif

T1 has way better soundstage than HD 650, the imaging is better as well.

The T1 aluminum case is NOT a travel case, it's meant to store on your desktop...

Has anyone considered just adding a handle of some sort to the standard aluminum case that the T1 comes with? Not sure how durable the case is so I'd be inclined to add some rubber feet, etc.

I'm surprised that a $149 case didn't have a handle. As a result it is always a "two handed" pickup operation.

I mean, after all, for the price of a T1 I could get a really great set of suitcases. So what's a handle worth? smile.gif

do you still prefer listening to your HD800/WA6 over T1/WA2?

T1 vs hd650....the clarity on the T1 just grabs your attention especially when listening to classicals.

Vocals on the hd650 is intoxicating.. both are in my silo.

Damn i am weak , got an unexpected income , and T1 is currently at 700 € (an 3x payment) at online french retalier . I said that T1 was a tad too bassy for my taste , but peraphs it was just the pads that was getting a bit used after almost 9 month of daily use . (and never washed them :p) , cause at first T1 bass were very enjoyable (and it's the best headphone that go through my house at this date) .

Curious to see how it will perform with a cheap O2 redface.gif

I still recall having read one of the earliest audio reviews of the T1 as being packaged in a "German Steel Sarcophagus"!

That really cracked me up. smily_headphones1.gif

That's a really good deal, considering that it retails on amazon for $1399. Hope you enjoy your headphones!
