Here is the preliminary info on the new pouch. I'll post better pictures once I get one in house.

1.    Case images are preliminary; better images will be available in a few days as we prefer to put the better ones out for view. You can mention if you want on the site.
2.    Zipper will be a little larger
3.    The pouch/bag is very high quality for portable usage. Manu in Bavaria by a hat company. Expensive product.
4.    High quality custom felt material thick, very robust, pockets inside, strong for weather (hat!)
5.    The exact form factor of the T5p and will fit other DT products
6.     Exclusively made for beyer.
7.    No external handle – able to grip at the headband as shown in pics

I like my metal case quite a bit more.

I would never leave the house with $1200 headphones.

that metal case makes TSA's eyebrows rise when taking it through airport security :P

j/k I generally carry my T1s back n forth from work, and that metal case is just bulky, specially if i am biking.

Does this violate any Head fi rules in regards to sellers who review items they sell? I know Drew sells the T1. Especially when the ratings are all 5.. Sorry to sound skeptical, But I expect all 5 ratings from less experienced users.. Drew has heard the best of the best.. So the all 5 rating, I find a bit suspect. The review itself was very thorough & grade A stuff..

Honestly the Star rating system sucks thus why I just populated all of the stars...we need a scale system set up more like the review magazines. 0-10 with decimal places etc. so that we can more accurately create a scale system.

As far as the review vs selling dealer aspect, I don't have a bias bone in me. If a phone is good, I will report it. If it sucks, I will also report it. As I certainly don't want to sell a piece of junk only to have it returned to my shop.....These are darn good headphones.

Folks/customers have been requesting me to do reviews, since I have access to so many of these toys passing through my hands. So that is what I am going to try and do. Trust me or don't trust me, that is a decision you must make.

Keep up he good work and make sure you get these in stock as soon as they become available so I can buy them :)

Well I am sure they fit, but I was just curious if T1 sounds the same with the T5p leather pads. Because they sound crap with other beyer leather pads.

Drew, why do you use WAV instead of ALAC?

What are the differences between iQube v1 and v2 other than the DAC section?
