Boston area headfiers?

I am a headfier, and I would like to know other guys in this community. For now, I have Beyerdynamic DT880pro/DT990pro/DT48E/T1, Sennheiser HD25-1II/HD650, Philips SHP9000. I am very glad to interact with anyone who is interested in headphones.

Every once in a while a Northeast / MA head-fi meet takes place, and there usually is a good 30 or so people who attend.

I am always eagerly awaiting the next one.

I read the previous thread and it seems that there was a head-fi meet at March. Will there be another meet at the last quarter of this year or this essentially needs someone to organize it?

There would need to be someone to organize one.  That's the biggest reason there are not that many MA head-fi meets.

Who ever coordinates the meet would be in charge of picking a location.  Ideally, the location would be free.  This would require someone to have access to a location suitable for 15-30 people.  If such a location exists, then a meet could be a very easy thing to do.  You simply pick a date (assuming good weather) and people show up, setup equipment, and listen to other's setups.

I missed the one last year,  I was about 6K miles away! I went  to the one a few years before that in Marlboro and had I great time. I at least have some decent gear to bring this time around.

Color me interested.

 

Last year I chose a hotel in Dedham to be a good spot because it's relatively easy to get to.

If anyone's interested in doing a smaller get together at home, I'd be interested. Just PM me. I'm interested in hearing HD800, LCD-1, T1 if anyone's got a pair.
