AKG K 240s and 240MKII

Hi,

Is there any difference in build quality between AKG K 240s and 240MKII.

The AKG K 240s is discontinued, but they have stock at Thomann

I know you do get the extra cable and earpads with the MKII version, so I am leaning towards them, just wondering which would be best option?

Thanks

Garry

The build quality should still be the same, they're both still made in Austria. If you need the extra earpads and cables, then go for the Mk.II, I find the velour pads more comfortable but the pleather pads better sounding.
