HI - firstly have only posted a couple of times on here as extremely new to all this (although have a little experience in DIY speaker and interconnects for HiFi).
Will be receiving some UE SF 5 Pro's and TF10's (hopefully if sale goes thru) soon and would like to make new cables. Have seen on here where to get connectors ( http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/484730/source-for-molded-ue-iem-connectors ) but been searching on some details of where/how to connect ground wires at the earpiece end. I cant seem to find anything on this. It may be something really simple (if you already know!) but not sure about this and obviously dont want to co*k it up!
I see from searching the web about the 3.5mm jack plug on where ground is attached - so that should be a problem.
I'm guessing when cable splits at 'Y' there is 1x ground wire going to each left and right channel. Just dont know where these should be connected at connector/pins.
If someone could help ( possibly with diagram - even if simple) or a link to a previous post about this point I wud be very grateful.
Just seen a post about a place in Lake Mary FL about someone making custom ear pieces at what seems a good price - although in UK out in FL sometimes for work and stay in Orlando just 25 mins it seems from the shop!! So hopefully can get some of these made also in the near future to top it all off!!!
Thanks for taking time to read and help if you can.
