Maybe it's not the right forum, but anyway.
So I have a Denon AVR-2310 connected to a 5.1 B&W setup, and recently I noticed distortion when there is high and loud voices (but the other sounds were crisp and clear, only the voices are distorted). I tried it with multiple Blu-rays, Avatar, Transformers, and when a somebody (mostly female) is screaming, the voice is distorted. I also changed a setting on my blu ray player, so (I think) that the blu ray player sends the digital signal to my receiver, and the receiver decodes the audio. So on my screen, it said "MULT CH IN." and now after changing the setting it says "DTS HD MSTR" or "DOLBY TRUE HD"
and I also noticed that sometimes the voices are not clear, but not always. It sounds like if the microphone is far away from the person speaking. Is that normal?
